Chasing the end of the beauty rainbow may seem to be a near-ending journey. Yet, running into someone who can actually work wonders makes it all worthwhile. Doctor Roland Angeles
The World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine based in France appointed Dr. Roland T. Angeles as the International Board Member representing the Philippines on February 2007.
On June 21-23, 2007, Dr. Angeles attended the International Conference on Practical Approaches to the Treatment of Obesity sponsored by the Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He is now a member of the Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Association.

Dr. Roland Agustin T. Angeles is from Angeles City, Pampanga. He is a graduate of the Angeles University Foundation. He took his post-graduate internship at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital, and his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City.
In the year 1998, he launched his career as a medical doctor specializing in Internal Medicine. He held clinics in Alabang and Las Pinas for six years until he decided to explore new grounds.
It was a period in time when society was growing more health and fitness conscious, and a weight loss treatment known as Bariatric Medicine was rapidly emerging. In 2004, Dr. Angeles went to the United States to learn about this latest medical field and impart his newly acquired knowledge in Manila.
Since then, he has been an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. With his considerable exposure in the field, a prominent foreign doctor introduced him to yet another breakthrough course in weight loss treatment called mesotherapy. The procedure guarantees to eliminate fat in specific body parts ideal for patients who have normal body weight but are concerned with problem areas.
In the year 2005, Dr. Angeles traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, Austin, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada trying to learn the different techniques of mesotherapy. It was in the latter where he met the pioneers in the field of mesotherapy, Dr. Jacques Le Coz of France and Dr. Patricia Rittes of Brazil.
When he received an invitation by Dr. Le Coz to train under his personal supervision in his clinic in Paris, France, Dr. Angeles did not pass up the opportunity.
He underwent training in Paris and learned the latest breakthroughs in mesotherapy and aesthetic medicine. He is presently an active member of the French Mesotherapy Society and the International Meso-Lipotherapy Society. After more than a year of bariatric medicine and mesotherapy practice, Dr. Angeles continues to broaden his expertise and learn further discoveries. He also went to Munich, Germany to study preventive gene diagnostics.
Scientists in Europe have identified genes that carry mutations that can cause certain disease in the future such as breast, prostate and lung cancers, thrombosis, and abnormal cholesterol metabolism. From these tests, diseases can be identified before they actually occur. Thus, patients will be guided accordingly to help prevent the diseases from developing in the future.

After Germany, Dr. Angeles headed to Brussels, Belgium to visit a renowned Belgian doctor, Dr. Thierry Hertoghe specializing in hormone therapy. This procedure covers the entire scope of anti-aging medicine including menopause and andropause treatment. Being an internist in this specific case, he realized that Philippine doctors are falling far behind in such field leaving patients with very limited options for treatment. With hormone therapy, he hopes that more people in the menopause and andropause stage will live a better quality of life.

In the year 2008, Dr. Angeles wanted to learn something new again, so he pursued to learn about Trichology which is the specialty in hair and scalp treatment. Under the tutorship of Dr. Han Jin Kwon of Natural Beauty Clinics of Seoul, South Korea, Dr. David Kingsley of British Science Corporation of New York City and David Salinger, the founder of the International Association of Trichology based in Sydney, Australia, he was able to complete his studies and gained the title diplomate in Trichology under the International Association of Trichology.
